Terms and Conditions

Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our terms and conditions. Thank you!

Payments:

Full payment for your selected service must be paid upon booking via the website. If you are having issues with this, please contact Confident Canine Club directly.

Cancellations & Refunds:

Cancelling within 14 days of booking (if your first session has not taken place) will receive a full refund.

If you are making a booking for a service that starts within the next 14 days, this may affect your right to receive a full refund.

  • If you cancel within 14-days of payment, after attending or missing one or more classes, you’ll receive a refund for the remainder classes of the course.

  • If you cancel within 14 days of payment, after attending or missing a one-to-one session you will not receive a refund.

After 14 days payments are non-refundable (subject to your trainer’s discretion) unless one of the reasons below applies:

  • Your trainer has assessed that your dog is not suitable for the service.

  • You no longer own the dog.

  • Your dog has unfortunately passed away.

  • Your dog has been diagnosed with long term sickness *

* In the case of short term sickness, your course or one-to-one will be rearranged.

If your course or one-to-one needs to be cancelled for any reason including trainer sickness or poor weather, you will be given the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Cancelling or rescheduling

Please note missed appointments and rescheduling appointments at short notice cause us additional administrative costs and, more importantly, mean that the slot cannot be offered to another dog. Therefore, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please contact us as soon as possible via confident.canine.club@gmail.com or 07590 949422.

Before attending a class or one-to-one session

Please do not knowingly book a class or a training session for a dog that shows aggression or severe nervousness. Please contact us for more information and advice.

If you have booked two dogs from the same household onto a course, please note that each dog will need to have a handler over the age of 16.

Please note, dogs must be fully vaccinated before attending a class or a one-to-one session.

Disclaimers

Where dogs are in close contact with each other or in the same environment, there is a risk of transferal of infectious diseases, including kennel cough, and this is the case when bringing your dog(s) to a group class or a one-to-one session. Vaccinations reduce but do not eliminate the risk of infection and although Confident Canine Club will take precaution to minimise risk by providing individual water bowls and disinfecting between sessions, this too cannot eliminate all risk. Therefore, by attending classes or a single training session you understand and accept the risk of possible infection and in the event of your dog becoming ill, you acknowledge that you cannot make a claim against Confident Canine Club.

Confident Canine Club makes no guarantees that classes or one to one will correct or remedy any behavioural or training issues with your dog.

To the extent permissible under the law, Confident Canine Club shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused as a result of your participation in a class or one-to-one session. You shall be responsible for your dog at all times when attending a Confidence Canine Club service.

Data protection

We treat your personal information with care and respect your privacy. All personal data will be removed after one month following completion of your session(s) (exception to this if we have pre-arranged a follow up for a later date).
